I know what it feels like to live in survival mode.
I also know what it feels like to finally be free.
For years, I questioned my reality, walked on eggshells, and believed that leaving would finally bring peace.
It didn’t.
Today, I help women heal from emotional abuse and trauma with the same compassion, honesty, and evidence-based support that helped me move from survival mode to freedom.
Leaving wasn’t the hardest part.
Healing was.
For nearly a decade, I was in an emotionally abusive relationship that slowly eroded my confidence, my sense of reality, and my connection to myself. Like many women, I became trapped in a cycle of self-doubt, anxiety, and confusion that I couldn't fully explain.
When I finally left, I expected relief.
Instead, I found myself living in survival mode.
I experienced panic attacks.
I continued navigating post-separation abuse.
Even though the relationship had ended, my body still felt like it was trapped inside it.
I kept wondering:
Why do I still feel afraid?
Why can't I stop thinking about him?
Why does my nervous system react as though I'm still in danger?
“I thought leaving would set me free”
Instead, I realized something that changed everything:
Leaving and healing are two very different journeys.
That realization eventually led me back to school.
I went back to school because I wanted to understand him.
Instead, I came to understand what had happened to me.
I learned how emotional abuse changes the nervous system, why trauma bonds are so difficult to break, and why healing requires so much more than simply leaving.
That journey became the foundation of the work I do today.
Why I Do This Work
My mission isn’t simply to help women leave unhealthy relationships.
It’s to help them experience the freedom and peace that emotional abuse often takes away.
Every woman deserves to understand what happened to her—not through shame or self-blame, but through the lens of trauma, compassion, and truth.
Whether you’re still in the relationship, preparing to leave, or years into recovery, my hope is that you leave this work feeling more empowered, more confident, and no longer controlled by fear, confusion, or someone else's behavior.
Healing isn’t about erasing your past.
It’s about no longer feeling controlled by it.
It’s about finding peace after chaos, clarity after confusion, and the freedom to fully live your life again.
My Approach to Healing
I believe healing happens when we care for the whole person—not just the symptoms.
While understanding your experiences is important, insight alone doesn’t always create lasting change.
Many women already understand what happened. They simply don't feel different yet.
Trauma lives in the nervous system as much as it lives in memory.
That’s why my work integrates evidence-based trauma therapies with body-based healing approaches that help your mind and nervous system work together.
Depending on your needs, our work may include:
Brainspotting
EFT Tapping
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Nervous System Regulation
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Somatic Healing Practices
Because healing isn’t one-size-fits-all, every journey is tailored to the person sitting in front of me.

My work lives at the intersection of both.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I've dedicated my career to understanding the lasting effects of trauma, emotional abuse, and nervous system dysregulation. As someone who has personally experienced emotional abuse, I also understand the questions that don't always get answered in a textbook.
Many of the women who come to me have already done therapy.
They’ve read the books.
They’ve listened to the podcasts.
They understand exactly what happened.
And yet...
They still panic when he texts.
They still second-guess themselves.
They still feel emotionally attached to someone they know isn’t safe.
That’s because understanding trauma isn’t always enough.
Your nervous system has to experience something different, too.
When we stop asking, “What’s wrong with me?” and start asking, “What happened to me?” healing becomes possible.
You don’t need someone to convince you that what happened was abuse.
You need someone who understands why your body still reacts as though you're living it.
That's the work we do together.
The way I see it...
Healing isn’t linear.
You don’t have to earn rest.
Your body isn’t working against you, it’s trying to protect you.
You are not “too sensitive.”
You are not broken.
You are not crazy.
You are responding to experiences that have shaped your nervous system.
And with the right support, those patterns can change.
Healing is possible.
Healing doesn’t happen in isolation.
It happens in the conversations we have, the communities we build, and the systems we begin to question.
I'm passionate about educating women about emotional abuse and the social systems that can make leaving and healing even more difficult.
Through my writing, educational content, speaking, and advocacy, I hope to make trauma-informed knowledge more accessible, so more women can recognize what's happening, trust themselves, and know they're not alone.
Because when one woman heals, the impact extends far beyond her. It reaches her relationships, her family, her community, and the generations that follow.
